THE CONCEPT AND MODEL OF OMBUDSMAN INSTITUTION IN THE MODERN WORLD

Abstract

The need of research of the concept and existing models of the institute of ombudsman is defined by the absence in legal science of comprehensive theoretical development of this problem. All this testifies to relevance and scientific and practical importance of the present article. The article provides the definition of the institute of ombudsman which was formulated by the author on the basis of the conducted analysis of the current legislation, global experience and special legal literature on the legal nature of the institute of ombudsman. The author paid special attention to the classification and characteristics of the existing models of the institute of ombudsman.
